Irvine, CA - Advanced Power Designs, Inc. announces that it has been selected to supply Lockheed Martin in Orlando, Florida with five types of standard and new VXIbus programmable power instruments for use in the Reconfigurable/Transportable-Consolidated Automatic Support System (RT-CASS) program.

Under the terms of the award, Advanced Power Designs will deliver three types of programmable VXIbus DC power supplies and two types of VXIbus programmable load modules. The initial deliveries are in support of LMC's prototype/development program with follow-on production deliveries expected to begin in mid-2000.

Advanced Power Designs currently markets commercially the Model VXI600 family of low voltage VXIbus programmable power supplies and has released the new VXIbus electronic loads and VXIbus high voltage DC sources.
